We Are Cow

Being at uni in Preston my surroundings are very different from living at home back in Newcastle, the town is a lot smaller but also has a lot of hidden gems. I was surprised the other day when I walked into Topshop and found a little rack of beautiful garments! I never would have thought We Are Cow would have just a little rack in such a small town like Preston.

If you don't know, We Are Cow are a company that produce vintage one off pieces, and they are so amazing. I couldn't believe it when I saw this Levi's denim jacket, it's so cosy and just stunning, also I feel pretty 90s when I wear it (which is a total plus) and knowing it was then or never I had to buy it, and for £45 I was pretty happy!

I love denim, and I can pair this with anything from a little bralette to simple day dresses. Definitely a new staple in my wardrobe!

Back to Uni

Uni year 2 has now officially begun and I have fallen in love all over again! This year I feel I have come into my own and I am really starting to grow up. There are so many opportunities that are coming my way and uni has 100% pushed me to try new things, resulting in me being happier and enjoying life a lot more.
The amount and difficulty of the work this year has already increased by ten fold however I adore the work I'm creating and I feel like a real fashion student and its not just a course, its my lifestyle.
Also being a fashion student I kind of blag it that shopping is a part of my course, its research, which makes me feel fabulous!
If university has taught me anything, its live your dreams. I know its that old cliché but its so true, the world has so much to offer but the only thing that could hold you back is you, and if you don't do the things you love, you may just spend your life thinking 'what if'.

LFW

London fashion week is here and the fabulous collections are out in force. I think I have fallen in love with most of the collections but one that really stood out for me was Versus s/s16 ready-to-wear collection.

The black background  with the pop of the white and blue colour bring the clothes out of the winter season and into the spring.

It was dark and brooding but with a high level of sex appeal, and the models gave the best of the collection by their aggressive expressions, the piercings and tattoos gave that small element of danger which really caught my eye and made it stand out for me. The accessories whether it be earrings or navel piercings and even the zips were silver, Versace is known for the gold so it gave a real change from their other pieces and it fits perfect in this collection.

Some of my favourite pieces.
